This year Potter´s House celebrates its 35th Anniversary, and it is with immense joy that we announce the recent release of our book, Hidden Treasure: Finding God in Unexpected Places. This endeavor commemorates the work God has done at Potter´s House over the past 35 years through our “hidden treasures” and the dedication of many who have been instrumental in God’s story.

We want to make you aware of a new option we have just put in place for donating appreciated stock or mutual funds to Potter's House for the benefit of our Treasures.
As you probably know, donating appreciated stocks or mutual funds to a charity provides a two-fold benefit:

You do not have to pay capital gains tax on the amount of the appreciation; and

If you itemize your deductions, you can take a charitable deduction for the appreciated value of the stock. What can be claimed as a charitable gift for federal income tax purposes is the securities' fair market value on the date of the gift.
